After turning professional in 2000 Dufner struggled on the Nationwide Tour for a number of years.  He won his PGA Tour card for the '04 season but returned to the Nationwide Tour the following year.  It wasn't until 2009 that he really established himself on the PGA Tour finishing in the top 10 on six occasions.  2 playoff losses in 2011, including the PGA Championship, were followed by his break through win in 2012 at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. 3 weeks later he was in the winner's circle again at the HP Byron Nelson.  In 2013 Dufner's stock reached a whole new level as he landed the final Major of the year at Oak Hill.  The victory was set up by a second round 63.  His PGA Chamionship victory was a stunning display off tee-to-green accuracy.  Dufner is a Titleist man and plays the 913 fairway woods and the AP2 irons.
